With the Benelli SEI 750 the entire contact breaker plate is replaced by the Pickup PCB. Cam and springs are removed from the advance unit and the remaining driver is put ont the camshaft again.
The fitting of the pickup PCB takes place on the original fastening spots of the contact breaker plate, the magnet disk is fastened on the shaft of the advance plate. Thereby it can be adjusted easily. As an additional adjustment help a LED near each light barrier indicates the right position, further adjustments are not necessary.
Each pair of cylinders has its own independent ignition,
i.e. three microcontrollers for three cylinder pairs,
therefore also three light barriers. The advantage
is separately exactly computed
for each pair of cylinders. |
