Mechanical advance unit and breaker points will be replaced by the printed circuit board and the pulse disc. The adjustment happens via turning the disc while the piston is exactly on TDC and a little LED indicates the correct position. Further adjustments are not necessary. |

With the R27 the ignition turns to the crankshaft, the breaker points are dropped. A driver (short shaft) serves as crankshaft extension, the hexagonal head screw is replaced by a Allan screw. The printed circuit board is fastened on the fitting points of the capacitor. The adjustment occurs like R25. |
