The digital ignition ZDG3.1 replaces the complete magneto ignition (this can completely remain in place or be dropped. The mounting of the sensor for the new ignition is on the alternator in place of the wire resistor. If the mechanical alternator regulator is still in use, the resistance must be replaced by another type (also available in the shop).
The adjustment is done by rotating the magnet disk in TDC position and a LED shows the correct position. Further adjustments are not necessary.
For operating an additional twin spark ignition coil is necessary. Any kind of 6V twin spark coil with an primary resistance greater than 1 Ohm can be used.
