At the beveldrive Ducati up to 1977 the in-house Ducati Elettronica-ignition was used. This system then was replaced by the Bosch ignition, but also did not much better. While it is relatively easy to replace the Ducati Elettronica system with or without a starter, the conditions for replacement of the Bosch system are unfortunately far less convenient, because pickup and trigger are separated after dismounting the side cover. Therefore the settings of the new ignition are more complicated. |
