With the Honda CB72/77 the ignition moves from the camshaft to the crankshaft. Advance mechanism and contact breakers remain untouched.
The assembly of the pickup-PCB takes place in front of the alternator, the original ignition coils can be used further.

Each cylinder has its own independent ignition, i.e. two microcontrollers for two cylinders, therefore also two Hallsensors. The advantage is the separately exactly computed spark advance for each separate cylinder.
9 ignition curves are available, selectable by a rotary switch at the box.
