The ignition system ZDG3 replaces the original contact breaker and the advance unit. The computation of the advance occurs on the basis of selectable curves by two microcontrollers within the box. Thus a steady dwell angle about the whole speed area is also granted.
The assembly of the new pickup PCB occurs on the original fastening points of the old plate. For the adjustment the magnet disc must be simply turned until a little LED shows the right position and then fastened by three screws in the disc. Other mechanical settings are not necessary.
