The breaker points are replaced by a Hall sensor plate and a magnetic disk drive. The ignition coils will remain.
At the original points ignition there is no spark advance adjustment, because a mechanical ignition timing by centrifugal governor on a two-stroke engine makes no sense. Due to the digital ignition, it is now possible to also use a suitable two-stroke ignition timing.The breaker cam is replaced by a driver sleeve, on which the magnet disk is mounted. The adjustment happens with the help of a LED on the plate in TDC position of one cylinder.
