The breaker plate and the advance unit are completely replaced by electronics. Two microprozessors are computing the ignition timing and the dwell angle optimally so that the ignition coils are spared and the energy consumption of the ignition is dropped to a minimum. The adjustment is very easy and effected via rotating the sector disk on the driver. A small light emitting diode on the printed circuit board indicates when the correct position is reached.
