The printed circuit board with the light barriers replaces the original magnetic pickups. Also the rotor is removed and replaced by a pulse disc.
 Each cylinder has its own independent ignition,
i.e. three microcontrollers for three cylinders,
therefore also three light barriers. The advantage
is the separately exactly computed
advance for each cylinder. . |
The assembly of the pickup PCB takes place on the original fastening spots of the original plate.
The adjustment takes place only on one cylinder, the othersw fits automatically via the given distance between the light barriers. A small LED near the light barrier serves as help, toggling in that position. That's all, the engine is ready to start. |
