Often Caferacer or racing bikes are only equipped with a central rev counter and only a small bicycle speedometer then serves as a speed display, which often is not watertight, has not a very appealing look and is overloaded with countless functions. By customer requests, there is now a small, rugged tachometer module in an aluminum housing. This digital speedometer is limited only to his real task: show the speed, no more and no less. The display is selected especially in the 'classic' 7-segment in red. That, I think, still fits better on a motorcycle from the 70 - or 80ties as a LCD display.
The case is available in the designs black anodized, silver anodized or polished finish.
The dimensions are 50x25x35mm (LxWxH).
The sensor consists of a Hall sensor and a magnet. For affixing or fastening of these components, there is no fixed pattern, as the types of motorcycles differents in front or rear wheel. Generally, however, the sensor in most cases fits on a bracket attached to the clamp srew of the wheel axle. The magnet is housed in a special screw that replaces one of the brake disc bolts.

The attachment of the speedometer via a base plate, which can be customized according to the circumstances of each motorcycle. The illustrated examples show a single and dual fixing. As the ground plate is simply screwed under the box, all forms are possible.
The connecting of sensor and tachometer happens by AMP Superseal connectors.
